WHAT'S NEW ON JET PROVOST HEAVEN?

02/01/08 Has it really been 12 months since I updated Jet Provost heaven?
It is. My apologies for not updating the site since 1st January last year.

Unfortunately, due to family and work commitments I have been unable to spend as much time as I would like on this site, and its sister site dedicated to the former FRADU Hunter and Canberra aircraft.
When I do have spare time, priority has to be given to the sites that I manage on behalf of other organisations, such as Hunter Flying Ltd and NWMAS Ltd, but they too have not received as much attention as I would have liked to give them.

Please rest assured that the site is not going to be closed down, and I do have plans to restart monthly, or bi-monthly updates to Jet Provost heaven. Over the past couple of weeks I have begun work on all the existing pages of the site, to bring them up-to-date and also to make them easier and less time consuming to amend in the future.
Please have a look around, and if there are any inaccuracies present anywhere please get in touch with me via the contact page, and I will amend them as soon as I can.

New material is being worked on when time permits and when owners give their permission for their aeroplanes to be featured. Therefore please continue to e-mail me images and messages about JPs and Strikemasters!
I would be delighted to feature your aeroplanes!

I am hoping to add one or two 'new' aeroplanes later this month, but will try and keep you all updated as the days go by on the latest situation.

01/01/07 Happy New Year to you all

A bumper update was promised on the last update, I hope it doesn't disappoint!

All the other pages present on Jet Provost heaven have been updated, so please have a look around. If there are any inaccuracies present anywhere please get in touch with me via the contact page, and I will amend them as soon as I can.

Finally, you may have noticed that Jet Provost heaven has moved to a new home.
It will now be permanently 'based' at http://www.jetprovostheaven.com, so please amend your bookmarks/favourites. My existing e-mail address will remain active.

29/10/06 At last an update! well it's on its way!

For the past couple of weeks, I have been working hard 'behind the scenes' on this site.
The present long-term plan is to re-commence the regular updates in the future, starting with a bumper update on 1st January 2007.
In the meantime, I have updated the records of all known Jet Provost and Strikemaster left extant, as a majority of the ownership information was not current.
All the other sections on the web-site will be receiving attention, and will be updated as and when they are completed.


2006 has been extremely busy for me personally. My thanks go to everyone that has been in touch with me over the past 10 months. I am extremely grateful for all your help and assistance, and hope that it will continue into 2007 and beyond!

22/06/06 As you may be aware, both my FRADU Hunter (inc. photo quizzes) and Jet Provost heaven web-sites, have been neglected over the past few months.

Due to personal circumstances, and with life being very hectic at the moment, I have not been able to dedicate as much attention to both sites as I would have liked.

This will be rectified at the earliest opportunity.

My apologies to you all.

18/03/06 At last the Jet Provost heaven web-site gets an update, but it has not been through lack of trying. Family commitments, personal Sickness and more recently a major PC crash has prevented any work being completed on any of my web-sites.
Thankfully the PC problems did not destroy large amounts of work, but unfortunately there was some minor losses to data relating to this site.

Early feedback on the new JP Sales/Wants section has been very encouraging, and would be more then happy to advertise further items should it be requested.
Once again, the service is free, sp if you would like anything Jet Provost or Strikemaster related to be listed, please get in touch.
If you contacted me during February about placing an advert, and it hasn't appeared on the site yet, please contact me with the details. I'll add it ASAP.

I hope to add at least one new aeroplane to the site on April 1st!

01/02/06 Due to family commitments and PC problems no update to Jet Provost heaven was possible.
01/01/06 Happy New Year to you all!

2006 sees the debut of a new section - Jet Provost wants and sales.
Present and potential Jet Provost and Strikemaster owners will be able to place advertisements within this section, free of charge.
Whether it be an individual component wanted to complete a project, or an entire aircraft being made available for sale, this section will hold details of it.

If you would like anything Jet Provost or Strikemaster related to be listed, please get in touch.

The rest of the site has received some general pruning and minor updating, none of which is worth a substantial mention. February should see at least one 'new' aeroplane join the 'ranks'.
